Somewhere away from the main road, in the quieter part of neighborhood in Sheung Wan is a Kim & Co. From the outside, I did not have a clear idea of what it has. It has everything from salad, pasta, steak to hearty brunches.As said before, the place is located in the quiet and relaxing area, while the road it overlooks is wide and rather empty. This breakkie came with deliciously juicy vegetables. Unlike some other breakfasts which are like putting together different ingredients in one plate, this dish has everything in good harmony, making itself essential to one another.
As I remember, it was something related to Egyptian eggs. This was rather heavier, with half boiled eggs and sauce mixed together with the wholesome fresh veggies.
We made a little try with adding one with macadamia milk and another coconut milk. I was surprised with the taste of coconut milk amplifying the already rich flavor of the coffee. It is a must try.
We came here again for a small celebration and tried out their dinner menu, with the buy one get one free offer on Tuesday. They have different offers during the week, such as steak night or pasta night.
This platter was good for two hungry souls. I especially liked the left one with the kimchi. Dipping it into additional spiciness with diluted gochujang was a twist further. They were very tasty. The fried layer was not too oily-- thin, yet crispy.
This salmon makes your mouth full of water once you bite it. Again, the vegetables were a wonder.
Since we had some drinks left, we added a little nachos.
This was full of cheese, but less salsa and guac. Once I had made few big dips on them, we were only left with cheese (which is still good).
I will come back here again, if I need warmth and happiness from the food. I almost felt as if taken by these dishes.
