After jogging in Victoria Park, I went to a nearby new eatery called Pigsman at Sugar Street to buy lunch.As noted from Openrice posts, Pigsman has lots of positive reviews. As there are limited seats inside the shop, I choose to have take away.
For the main, I ordered Agent Jack, Agent Red and Pork Chop Toast. For the side, I took homemade meatballs.
Agent Jack is a delicious pork chop rice with whisky bbq sauce. Pork chop is thick and cut into pieces to facilitate you. The meat is lean, tender and full of flavour. The whisky bbq sauce is sweet.
Agent Red is baked cheese pork chop with fried rice and apple. It is also yummy and richer in flavour.
I also enjoy the pork chop toast with succulent pork chops, lettuce, tomato and sweet bread. The spicy sauce enhances the flavour of the toast.
I am happy with the tasty handmade meatballs with good texture and flavour. It is a must try.
On the whole, I enjoy my lunch very much. Service is very good. Take aways are packed securely in smart design containers. Price is reasonable.
I surely will encore.
