Obviously we had to try their signature pho (you can choose between rice noodles or vermicelli). We finally decided on the ‘train pho’, mainly because of the wagyu beef balls, which was definitely the highlight of this dish with its unmistakable buttery taste. The broth was light yet flavorful, so we felt that there was no need to add their special condiments, like the sriracha sauce, sacha xo sauce or hoisin sauce that were available on each table.

Apart from pho, one of our favorite Vietnamese dishes is lemongrass grilled pork and this did not disappoint! With a distinctive lemongrass aroma from the fatty grilled pork slices and a crunchy texture of fried scallions, this dish may not look its part, but it was certainly super mouth-watering. The portion was huge though and we sadly couldn’t finish all the fragrant yellow oil rice.

There were 5 pieces of chicken wings, each with crispy skin and succulent juicy meat inside. The complex seasoning exploded in our mouths with notes of mellow tartness and savoriness. Squeezing the lime juice added an extra dimension of tanginess. Super recommend!
[Iced Coconut Water with Coconut Meat & Iced Jelly and Green Bean with Coconut Milk]
The drinks came in takeaway packaging, which was quite convenient to take on the go (although not super eco-friendly), as we couldn’t finish the huge cup after eating everything. The coconut water was more refreshing with small chewy pieces of coconut meat while the coconut milk was sweeter with bouncy jelly bites.
