I've only visited the UK a few times, so it explains why I've never been to a Pizza Express until now. Great first impression, though!The Lava pizza is a great vegetarian option: fresh burrata mozzarella, basil, kalamata olives, cherry tomatoes, and tomato sauce. On the menu it mentioned having chilli oil but mine didn't seem to have it; either way without it it was still pretty tasty.I also tried the Alba pizza which was also a hit for my tastebuds! I also tried the Alba pizza which was also a hit for my tastebuds! Can't remember what type of sausage it had but me likey.
Surprisingly, service was quite attentive during lunch; our server was quick to fill our waters whenever we were low and always checked up on us to see if we needed anything else.
Though this is a chain, fresh ingredients and the right amount of seasoning make all the difference. I will for sure return many times.
