Thought I'd be healthy (for once) so I decided to pop in to Mimi2Go for a bibimbap, rather than a boring salad.Mimi2Go didn't disappoint, and I was quickly served with a huge bowl, nestled with an assortment of lettuce, mushrooms and other vegetables of all sorts of different colours, with a bed made from red rice and quinoa, and flavoured by some bright red kimchi which the owner had made a few days ago. Mimi2Go didn't disappoint, and I was quickly served with a huge bowl, nestled with an assortment of lettuce, mushrooms and other vegetables of all sorts of different colours, with a bed made from red rice and quinoa, and flavoured by some bright red kimchi which the owner had made a few days ago. The bibimbap looked like a painting and was delectable; the rice, after mixing up everything in the bowl, was lightly flavoured by the spicy kimchi, and was accompanied by the crispiness of the lettuce, the graininess of the quinoa, which together with the other vegetables, brought about a symphony of natural colours and flavours in the mouth.
As a bonus, the owner offered samples of her side dishes which included some stewed radish and shiitake mushrooms, which had been cooked to perfection without covering the natural taste of the vegetables, as well as some broccoli and squid, which had been livened up with a touch of spice by some Korean chilli sauce.
Cheers, will be visiting again.
