Happy Mother's Day of Nyonya

Happy Mother's Day! We wanna try something new other than Italian, Japanese, Korean or western food. Therefore, I chose Indonesian restaurant for my family. But they didn't feel very contented with the food and maybe the taste didn't suit perfectly. For me, I think the dishes were normal but not spectacularly good.After we settled down in the restaurant, the staff gave us several menu including set menu, mother's day menu and main menu. We dicussed around 10 minutes for the dish choices and stug

Happy Mother's Day! We wanna try something new other than Italian, Japanese, Korean or western food. Therefore, I chose Indonesian restaurant for my family. But they didn't feel very contented with the food and maybe the taste didn't suit perfectly. For me, I think the dishes were normal but not spectacularly good.

After we settled down in the restaurant, the staff gave us several menu including set menu, mother's day menu and main menu. We dicussed around 10 minutes for the dish choices and stuggled which dishes should we choose. My family already murmured and urged because of hunger. And so that I called the staff to order dishes. What a big SHOCK that we can only order the set menu....... then why they gave us the main menu and didn't tell us in advance? Don't tell me because of the drink list in main menu....... 

Two thing I felt dissapointed of this arrangement:
1. Wasting me lots of time to checking dishes in main menu
2. Inflexible eating choices (some dishes I prepared to order no longer vaild

I know it is because of Mother's Day! But please do tell me in advance, thank you!

Now come to reviewing the dishes, we ordered set A, set B, and one side dish

 Thai Mince Meat and Lettuce Wrap, Best dish we ate this night!!! Thump up!
the taste suit perfectly and three components match perfectly together. The staff taught us the correct eating method. First, we need to split the prawn cracker and mix cracker and meat together. Finally, we can put the ingredents in the lettuce and wrap them(; Very nice dishes, this is one of my most favorite Indonesian food so far(;

 The service is quite good and especially some of the "senior" waitresses are so helpful and welcoming the questions. They answered my questions very detailed and politely,and taught us the traditional or correct way of eating Thai Mince Meat and Lettuce Wrap (金不換豬肉碎生菜). Thrump up for this friendly reminder!

If you're curious to know what is Indonesian food, then you can go to Nyonya. But the dishes aren't spectacularly good. The ranking of this restaurant seems to be too high. 
NOT RECOMMEND for those expecting high quality of food.
