Their 10th anniversary dinner is now reduced to $680. The servers were police and would introduce each dish when served.The first dish was appetizing. The cod actually was quite large in the thick bourride The foie gras was great. It wasn't too oily and the sweetness and tartness of the strawberries and plum sauce further neutralized the occasional strong flavor of foie gras, making it a well balanced dish.
The prawn and abalone were fried perfectly. They remained springy without turning hard and the sauce was just right without overpowering the seafood themselves.
An apple juice was served prior to the tenderloin to refresh our palates.
The beef tenderloin was tender and juicy though it was pretty small. The onions were sweet without the spiciness.
Then came the miso soup and fried rice before the dessert and coffee.
The strawberry parfait was a lovely finish to the dinner with the coffee.
