I had the chicken burger (Hot Chick) combo. Negatives:As some others have mentioned, there was only one person on duty, so the place was dirty, with no effort being made to clean it.They charge an extra $10 for 'import' sodas (dr pepper, cherry coke), which feels kind of cheap and stingy, given the combo is already more expensive than other fast-food places. They charge an extra $10 for 'import' sodas (dr pepper, cherry coke), which feels kind of cheap and stingy, given the combo is already more expensive than other fast-food places. So the drink was just a can of coke.
The fries were just bad; they'd been deep-fried too long, so they were saturated with oil. The kind of fries that just break in a crunch on bite; no fluffiness inside, no softness outside, and a quantity of oil that feels sickly in the stomach. Some of the worst fries I've had, and not good enough for a place trying to be a cut above.
Positive:
The chicken burger was excellent. The bun was plain, as was the sauce, but the meat was tender and, crucially, well-seasoned. The seasoning was so perfect it seems incredible that so few burger places bother to use herbs when preparing the meat. For that reason alone, the burgers might be worth a try, but don't come in with too high expectations.
