Bisque is classy, cozy and convenient champagne + lobster restaurant & bar located inside LKF. I usually find restaurants in LKF are noisy, but this place provides a different vibe. I really love the atmosphere of the place, the music, detailed design and the use of crystal glasses gives a modern yet classy touch. I went there on a week night at 9pm, didn't expect to be busy so we just walked-in. The booth was full, but luckily a couple was finishing up, so the three of us waited at the bar. While we were waiting, the bartender was very friendly, suggested us a few off the menu cocktails. I have to say, we were impressed by every one of them. I ordered a Rosemary Champagne, you can smell and taste the fragrance of the rosemary, with a touch of orange. One of my friends order a Lobster Bloody Mary, which came with a massive lobster claw and the other friend selected the classic Pisco Sour, he said is one of the best in town (I didn't try it personally, so can only take his word).
After about a 20mins wait, we seat down in our booth. We were pretty much was starving by then, so we started with Oyster - So fresh, so sweet. Then an appetizer size Lobster Bisque - Before I went, I've read about how their bisque is different from the others, because they use 100% lobster. I went there with very high expectation, and they didn't disappointed me. You can really taste the richness and the thickness of the lobster flavor. Don't underestimate that cup, it will make you feel VERY satisfied.
We also had the salmon and steamed lobster. It doesn't say in the menu, but all their main course comes with lots of sides. Both our large plates were served with cherry tomato, snow peas, potato, baby corn... not only taste good, it also makes the plate looks lively. The salmon was cooked just right in my opinion, my friend wanted a bit more raw (guess is really a personal preference), and the taste was just right. I like to eat my lobster the classic way, steamed with hot butter. That's the best way to enjoy the full flavor of seafood freshness. They do provide two other options, herb or chilly style, if you fancy something different.
My overall experience was very positive, everything from atmosphere, to food and staff's friendliness. If you do plan to eat here, don't go if you want a quick dinner. Because they serve one dish at a time, which is great if you are there on a date, business dinner or a gathering with good friends.
