I've walked past this place hundreds of times but wrote it off as just another mediocre Cantonese greasy spoon kind of place. Cantonese greasy spoon kind of place it sure is, but mediocre it is certainly not. I will definitely return the next time I feel greasy.This pork and egg stew mix over rice was very good. This dish is one of their signature dishes. It's a fried runny egg with sliced pork over rice covered in excellent soy sauce. It's so decadent that I probably can't have it more than once a month, if that, but it's definitely delicious.

The beef fried noodles were the biggest surprise. They were the best fried noodles I've had in Hong Kong, having an impressive smokey flavor to them, while the beef had a delicious ginger and garlic flavor as well. Most importantly though the noodles weren't too oily. The sauce at the bottom of the dish was all just soy sauce and beef marinade, not oil, as is often the case with this dish. Unfortunately though, by the time we got there, they ran out of ho-fen noodles, so we had to get the spaghetti, which I was worried about being underwhelming. It was very good though, and I now look forward even more to trying the ho-fen next time.

Also, at around $30 per dish you really can't go wrong.
