I was there and tried their sauteed mussels with wine sauce about two months ago. It was the best mussels I have ever had (and I have had my share of sauteed mussels in my life time). A lot of places serve really small mussels as appetizers and the cooked mussels are often shrunk and dry and chewy (not in a good way). But the ones I had at New York Cafe & Bar serves were cooked to perfection. They were huge and tender and juicy. I soaked the bread in the wine sauce and it was to die for. S
