I was super excited when I saw that Pokeworld opening in HK!! I loved the idea of having sushi rice with fresh seafood , avocado, masago...had my first bowl of poke rice in LA at pokinometry and I was impressed..however I'm disappointed with my bowl of poke rice from pokeworldFirstly, they were stingy with the scoopings...the basic rice bowl with 2 scoops cost HKD78... I have selected salmon and octopus which the girl serving me was so stingy that I reckon she only gave half scoop of salmon...
Firstly, they were stingy with the scoopings...the basic rice bowl with 2 scoops cost HKD78... I have selected salmon and octopus which the girl serving me was so stingy that I reckon she only gave half scoop of salmon... secondly, the original poke that I had in L.A. would mix the toppings with special sauce before serving on the bowl of rice...here in pokeworld, they squeeze the selected flavour onto the rice but that would make the toppings very dry. Thirdly, they charge for additional items like avocado and masago which I'm happy to pay but they were still stingy with toppings...generous with the veggies which I think its good too as I like my healthy serving of veggies but pls don't skim on the meat as customer would also want their value for money
Overall, I think the concept is good...but lack execution...the staff who served me was obviously not clear what she is doing.
