Mad Burger recently opened in this part of Wanchai. I noticed it one evening while heading there to for jianbing to take home for with me. But when I arrived, it had closed and now it was a place called Mad Burger! It was closed and appeared to only be open during the day time, so I made a mental note to return to give it a try.The place is really small. Geared for take away, it does have a few stools facing a wall if you want to dine there.Menu is in English only. There is no 10% service charge

Menu is in English only. There is no 10% service charge. Along with burgers, they also sell pasta. All available with a set which includes a soup or drink.
Boyfriend and I both ordered a burger set.
For my drink, I chose the Lime Mad. It was a lemongrass with lime in soda water. It was ok. Refreshing enough but I'm not a big fan of soda water.
Boyfriend's drink was much better. He chose the Ginger Cream Soda. A bit of ginger mixed with the sweetness of cream soda was a pretty good combination!
We both ordered a Mad Burger set ($88) which includes a drink and a burger. You can have the pickles as well if you want. They'll place that on the side. We shared fries for an additional $20.
The burger was a beef patty, lettuce, tomato, melted processed cheddar cheese, caramelized onion on a toasted brioche bun. The patty was medium rare and fairly juicy. The burger was also very tall so it was hard to bite in one big swoop as my mouth isn't that big. Boyfriend just ate his separately. Everything held together well. They said they had Mad Sauce which mostly tasted like general burger sauce. But otherwise, a very sold burger. The fries were fresh from the fryer so really hot. Super crispy and not too oily. Good fries.
The service was friendly and helpful. Food was decent so will definitely be back. I'll probably try their pasta next time along with the soup.
