Came here for a quick lunch with some friends. Their deal is a main + drink for $78 and add appetizer for additional $20. Since I was not too hungry, I decided against an appetizer. I ordered the pork shoulder in green curry with eggs and yellow rice with three sour (additional $10).The main was not bad - the meal seemed to be lacking some vegetable/greens to make it complete. I ordered the pork shoulder in green curry with eggs and yellow rice with three sour (additional $10).
The main was not bad - the meal seemed to be lacking some vegetable/greens to make it complete. The portion of the rice was rather large - I only ate about 3/4 of it. The egg was beautifully runny and the yolk served as another sauce for the meal. The pork was easy to cut into and was cooked perfectly.
The three sour drink is my favorite. It feels very fresh and the sourness from the drink really uplifts the spirit. The sourness is from the lime, lemon and preserved plum.
Overall, I love this restaurant. The food is great and the price is reasonable.
The only downside to this restaurant would be that they don't seat you till the full party is present. Understandably this is for business purpose as lunch time has to have quick turnover. The line may seem long but it moves pretty quick as the service is very efficient. It can also get quite noisy during weekend lunch time (12-2) so not great for meetings, perhaps.
