Went there for lunch with 2 of my high school friends. We booked a table ages ago - a table for 3 at around 1:30pm...it was a bit disappointing as we arrived punctually but still had to wait for 5-10 minutes for a table. Also, service was not very efficient, not as fast as we expected when we asked for water and stuff. My friend and I ordered the Daily Special ($145) which consisted of shrimp tempura, cod fish, sashimi, some rich and a bowl of miso soup. Typical Japanese lunch set. It was a good set though which came with steamed egg and coffee/tea. The cod fish was excellent, the chicken was great which complemented well with the vegetables. The sashimi was nice. The steamed egg tasted good as well.
My other friend, however, was a bit disappointed with the portion of the sea urchin. It was far too small and she ordered a bowl of ramen as well. The coffee/tea was alright.
When we asked for the bill, it took a bit too long to arrive (10 minutes), which was far too long. Also, with respect to the atmosphere of the restaurant, it was far too noisy and my friends complained that the table was far too apart. We found it difficult to chat and we had to shout at the top of our lungs.
Last but not least, it's a good thing that the restaurant has very good business, but honestly, it's far too noisy and 熱鬧. Wish it were slightly more exclusive and less of a hustle-and-bustle. The price can also be cheaper, seriously, $145 for a lunch set is a bit too expensive in Central. They should give away some more stuff, such as sushi and dessert. That'll make it a much better deal.
