Came here for a friend's birthday dinner. The Thai food served here has got a kind of fusion twist to it. Some notable dishes we tried were the salmon dumplings that are slightly spicy, raw prawns, shrimp cakes, soft-shell crab salad with green papaya and this leaf wrap thing. I'm not really sure what the leaf wrap was called, but basically it's got some peanuts, some crispy things, a bit of meat (I think it was pork) and some sweet sauce placed on top of a leaf and you eat it with the leaf. At
There are also dips for appetizers. The dips come with crispy sheets that slightly resemble pappadums without the spices, fried leaves and crispy rice cakes. You can choose from a variety of dips too. The peanut with chicken sauce and spicy tomato sauce are recommended.
We also ordered two curries - fish and chicken. Unfortunately, the menu is a bit misleading because it actually said "curry fish balls". I did feel like eating fish balls and thought that was what we'd be getting. It turned out to be just curry fish fillets! The chicken curry was a bit salty but paired with those roti-like pancake things, it's pretty good.
If you're a meat lover, then this might come off a bit weird because my favourite dish was actually the fried vegetables! The fried baby cabbage was very good and we ended up ordering two plates.
The only downside about this restaurant is that the portions are quite small. There's also a creepy toilet on the second floor that makes a weird noise if you try opening the door when somebody's inside. The problem is that you don't know when somebody's inside so you'll just have to deal with the noise .
