After paying our bill, we were sitting at the table while waiting for my friend's Uber to arrive in a few minutes. She is on crutches because she has a fractured leg and difficulty standing up for a long time. While we were waiting, a manager/staff came over and asked us to leave the table because there were people waiting for the table. We explained to him the situation and asked for a few minutes more. While we were waiting, a manager/staff came over and asked us to leave the table because there were people waiting for the table. We explained to him the situation and asked for a few minutes more. He refused and insisted that we must leave now that we have paid the bill.
I do not know which is more upsetting: is it that he thinks he has the right to kick customers out as soon as they paid or is it that he has no concept of basic human compassion on the situation.
What disgusted us even more is the fact that he never even propose to give our friend a place to sit while waiting if he really needed the table. He just wanted to kick us out.
As we were walking out, we saw several empty tables in the restaurant. Why can't he just let us wait there for few minute?
This is utterly the most appalling customer service I have ever experienced in my life! I will never return to this place and I refuse to be insulted by the way he treated a person with a broken leg!
