Walked in to this joint with colleagues after work with zero expectations, as we had to find an alternative due to the fire incident on the MTR. Greeted warmly by the staff at around 1915 and with very smart decor and well spaced seating, it felt like a good start. Crackling, mac n cheese and chicken mousse were ordered for starters. For the mains, we had the PIG (BBQ pulled pork), a black pepper burger and a couple of bacon cheeseburgers. We added some sweet potato fries and chili cheese fries

Greeted warmly by the staff at around 1915 and with very smart decor and well spaced seating, it felt like a good start. Crackling, mac n cheese and chicken mousse were ordered for starters. For the mains, we had the PIG (BBQ pulled pork), a black pepper burger and a couple of bacon cheeseburgers. We added some sweet potato fries and chili cheese fries after recommendation from the waiter.

Starters were nice and I found the mac n cheese to be an interesting take on a classic. The timing of serving is also very well judged, with a decent amount of time between drinks, starters and mains.

I had a try of the pulled pork my colleague ordered, which was tasty if a little on the strong side with the BBQ marinade for my taste. Of the two cheeseburgers, I had ordered medium whilst my colleague preferred medium rare. The cooking was very well judged, and while my burger was juicy it did not leave my hand or the bun soaked.

Overall the experience was very good, with food being of a high standard and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Special mention goes to the staff (all 3 that we spoke with), who were helpful and friendly and allowed us to take our time to enjoy the dinner. Recommended.
