Boyfriend ordered this: a black pepper beef pastry ($15). It was pretty spicy from the black pepper. Pastry was flakey and crumbly but not too oily. The filling was tender and not dry. Boyfriend munched away like a happy camper.

As most items were spicy, he got me this one as it was the only nonspicy item. A chive pancake roll ($10). I wasn't too thrilled with mine. It was dry and it felt l like I was eating a piece of paper with chives in it. The beef one was much better.

This is rare to find this type of street snack in Hong Kong. Cheap and easy to eat. A good portable street snack. I'd suggest getting the meat stufffed versions as they are much better.
