WOFT not only presents a wide range and styles of craft beers different parts of the world, humourously named original cocktails, mocktails amoung other spirits, but a most unexpected pleasant surprise is the equally well crafted creations from their very own kitchen which is rare for a beer place, simple beer food with fine attention to details. Their staff are swift yet very friendly. The aesthetic quality of their menu is pretty well thought thru too. I started the evening with "M

Which so happened to pair nicely with the dishes to come.
The starter took time to arrive, clearly made fresh to order. "Traditional Mini French Pie" a relative of the commonly known bruschetta arrived soon enough. The ensemble is a trio of thoroughly crispy and light baguette, generously domed by baked light creamy cheese fondue, each dollop of cheese mixed with spinach, tomato with minced meat sauce, and stir fried bacon respectively. Its pleasantly surprising that such a dish commands such well balanced flavours that are a contrast to the stereotypically heavy and rich flavours, and this could also be accompanied by a well dressed salad that's composed of very fresh greens, not a hint of oxidation, very meticulous kitchen for a beer place.

Then came the much anticipated "Beef in three" another trio which, to me, showcases their kitchens ability in bring finese to bar food! 3 generous strips of beef cut to proportions for optimum experience; 1 shoulder, 1 rib(no bones), 1 tongue. The three were seared to a light crisp with distinct lines of char on on the surface. Quite unassuming at first sight. But the knife reveals a perfect deep pink(not bloody) leading to a juicy, tender, smooth and buttery mouthfeel for both the shoulder and rib. I must add that the rib was really close to a melt in the mouth butteriness. The tongue was done to a light pink pleasantly crispy and tender chewiness yet not a hint of toughness. All these garnished tastefully with slices of garlic toasted to a golden crisp. And once again accompanied by a flawless sprout with freesie greens crowned with a warm chunky slab to meaty tomatoe lightly seared, and very sweet and fluffy baked mini potatoes that are glazed with butter and lightly dusted with herb and salt, amusingly ornated with 2halves of Ladies-finger thats not at all slimy, a contrary to what its knon for. The ladies-finger nicely compliments in flavour, mouthfeel as well as aesthetics.

I was stuffed by then and decided to have a bottle of heavy bodied beer that leans on the sweet side it wasnt easy to choose from the long list of beers but I managed to scale down my choices to the dark malty flavour burting stout porters with hints of dessertish flavours and finally settled for "Delirium Nocturn" as dessert. The tasting notes that follow will explain my choice.
