My family and I love Indian food. We've tried many restaurants in an attempt to sate our curry cravings, and no restaurant we've tried has delivered as well as this one. As a family, we stop by maybe once or twice a month. I don't know why there are so many negative reviews, but many of them are from over a year ago, so things have probably improved.Every time we visit, we order the tandoori chicken. Every time we visit, we order the tandoori chicken. In my opinion, this is one of the best chicken dishes available anywhere. The chicken is always searing hot and full of flavor. There is a perfect balanace of spices covering the surface, and the flesh inside is always moist and tender. Tandoori chicken at other restaurants is always either too bland, or far too dry. This dish may be a little pricey, but it's worth it.
As for the other dishes, the Murgh Madras and the special lamb knee curry are our favorites. I think my family tends to favor milk-based curries, thus these selections are perfect for our paletes. I find that the curry served here is always rich with a glorious depth of flavor that is hard to find served from any other kitchen. Service can take a little long when the all the tables are full, but the waiting time is never unreasonable.
One of the reasons why we enjoy this restaurant so much is because its a nice change from eating rice or pasta all the time. Here, we usually order naan bread as the main carbohydrate of the meal. We've tried every type on naan available on the menu, and the unanimous opinion is the garlic naan beats all.
