My friend and I decided to try this place after reading the reviews here. They did not disappoint! We went around noon on a Saturday (it is also National Day) and were seated immediately. They offer all kinds of food--Indian, American, Italian, Mexican... and they ALL looked delicious!! After flipping through the menu I decided to try the set lunch; I chose the "street urchin pizza'. It came with soup appetizer (the day's soup was lentil, it was DELICIOUS) and a drink. My friend got the pasta alfredo.
Food was delivered in a timely manner and the (free) water was flavored with lemon and I think also cilantro. It was good and refreshing. I had lemon tea with my pizza.
The pizza arrived piping hot and smelled amazing. It had ham, salami, chopped tomato, and pineapple chunks. I consider myself a pizza connoisseur so I was interested to see how this would measure up. I am pleased to say that it was DELICIOUS and lived up to every expectation.
My friend's alfredo was also amazing. I had a bite of hers and think I might get that next time, maybe add some chicken. The sauce was creamy and the pasta was perfect. The presentation of the food is also beautiful and very appetizing. Watching other plates pass by our table my mouth was watering! the grilled tuna salad looks so good.
The servers were friendly and polite, although I think ours must have been new because she was a little awkward and at first brought us someone else's food. (I would've eaten it--looked so good!) But the other waiters made sure our water glasses were full and asked if our food was good. I have to say this is probably the best service I have had since I came to Hong Kong in July. I am willing to overlook a little clumsiness though, because the whole staff was great and the food was superb.
They also have a full bar and a tempting drink menu. I will definitely go back during happy hour--they have a large selection of beverages at reasonable prices.
My meal included: lentil soup, 10" pizza, and lemon tea for $55 during lunch. INCREDIBLE DEAL.
My friend's meal: lentil soup, HUGE plate of pasta, and lemon tea for $68. Also an incredible deal!
There is no service charge but I was so impressed I left a sizable tip. Will be back many many times!!!
