Boyfriend and I decided to have a quick meal before heading to Sotheby's. But when we arrived at Cafe Hennessy, it was closed and to go to their other branch which was just around the corner. The second branch was nicer looking. It looked a bit like a cafe. Except seating is really cramped. The seats are really close to the table so you have to squeeze to sit. It became a bit uncomfortable after a while.Menu is in English and Chinese. There is no 10% service charge and you pay on your way out. T

Boyfriend ordered a Seafood Fried Rice ($66). It seemed to be a mix of everything from different sizes of shrimp to clams and scallop. The seafood didn't have a lot of flavour. It said it was stir fried in XO sauce. There wasn't much of it. At least the rice wasn't oily.
I ordered something from the afternoon tea set menu. This is the Fried Super Big Chicken with Garden Salad ($48). The fried chicken leg was big in size and very juicy. The skin was super crispy and well seasoned. The garden salad was heavily dressed in a Caesar salad dressing. A surprise as every where they use either Japanese sesame, balasmic or thousand island. Salad was just lettuce but at least it was fresh.
Food was ok. Not great. Seating is a bit cramped so not too comfortable. I guess only be back if there is nothing else to choose from.
