Boyfriend and I came to this area as we were planning to visit the nearby weekend markets. But first we wanted food. We decided to venture to this mall and discovered a number of new restaurants that we had not encountered before. Menu is in English and Chinese. There is no 10% service charge. When we were there, they had an afternoon tea menu that included a drink. Lunch set menu was also available. Ordering is done by scanning QR code and paying on your way out.
We decided to go with the afternoon tea menu. This is the Spaghetti Bolognese ($58). It was ok. The pasta was slightly al dente. Plenty of meat but the sauce was mostly tomato in flavour and not much else. Some Parmesan cheese powder was on top. Portion wasn't too big as well.
We also ordered the Gillette Fish Burger with Tartar Sauce and Fries ($52). The cheese wasn't melted and the tartar sauce was a bit too watery. The fish fillet looked a bit dark but it actually tasted ok and was not over cooked. The bun was nicely toasted. The fries were hot and crisp.
Food was ok. It wasn't great but it wasn't terrible. Price was not expensive at all. Unsure if we'd be back though.
