I have read through the reviews in openrice and thus did not have high expectation, but then, I'd still like to give it a try since I really luv jap food.I went with my parents this evening, and despite arriving 6-ish in the evening, we have to wait for around 45min before we could go in (well, rather expected in the Elements).We ordered sashimi (5 types) ~$230, 雞泡魚乾 ~$58, 滑蛋雞肉飯 ~$78, ice crab 釜飯 $108.sashimi - fresh, quite thick cut. good quality.雞泡魚乾 - good, but not very special.滑蛋雞肉飯 - taste

sashimi - fresh, quite thick cut. good quality.
雞泡魚乾 - good, but not very special.
滑蛋雞肉飯 - taste is ok, but nothing special. but then the size can be for ~2-3 ppl
ice crab 釜飯 - very bad. no taste at all. such a disappointment. i remember eating this kind of kettle rice in Japan... this one is really BAD.
also the service was fair. the waitress/waiter did not refill our tea unless we told them.
in the end, we spent ~$530 for such a dinner.
to sum up, i will not visit this restaurant again as there are so many better choices for such a price and service in HK.
