I arrived at around 12:15 and luckily still had a spot left. However after I was seated, a queue started forming outside the restaurant as office workers started to have their lunch break.I ordered the Ichitora Ramen ($88) with a rich pork-bone broth and an egg that is said to be directly imported from Japan. You're able to customise parts of the ramen including the thickness of the noodle, whether you want the noodles to be firm, normal or soft, the use of flavouring oil, etc. The ramen arrived

I really liked the thick noodles which were 1.4mm in thickness. The texture were great, slightly chewy but not too hard as well! The soup was flavourful but not too salty, so I could drink quite a bit of it. The pork belly was also pretty tender and there were two large slices.

The only gripe I had with the ramen was the egg. Like the picture on the menu, I was expecting the eggs to be onseneggs, therefore half boiled with a bit of runny yolk coming out. Therefore, I was extremely disappointed to break my egg and to find it completely boiled all the way through. In my opinion, this really brought down the ramen.

Hoping on the next visit, the eggs will be greatly improved.
