Came to this place based on a friend's recommendation and the fact that it was marketed as Kenjo's spin off on HK island. My friend and I ordered omakase because we were too lazy to pick and choose. We have been to quite a few sushi places and we do have our favorites but figure we should give this place a try. The quality of food is pretty good but we didn't have anything too impressive as the fish was just normal stuff like hamachi, toro and sole, etc. When we got the bill, we decided that this is not a place for second visit as they charged us for the appetizer, hot food (which we did not order and were not too enthus about it) and even the honeydew at the end!!!! We have been to sushi places with real Japanese chef and we never got charged for appetizer, hot food or dessert!!!
Moreover, the chef doesn't seem to care about hygiene as I was him touching a customer's i-phone and then immediately handled the fish without washing his hands.... I mean, after all we're talking about RAW food here and I thought that was quite gross...
The service is just so so as they didn't even bother changing your plates when you switch between sashimi to sushi which is again something I have not experienced before! I would not recommend this place to my friends and I think this place is overpriced and not worth the visit. There are many friendlier places around the area and they are much better value for money.
