Ok, so I had this place before June last year, before we knew this was part of Maxim's. I wouldn't go there anymore but I hope someone can benefit from this review of their classic cheesecake. Their cheescakes aren't actually as big as I expected, and each slice costs a whopping $70-80HKD. We ordered 3 cakes between 5 people as dessert: Classic, Lime, and Tiramisu. The classic cheesecake was very rich, but honestly a bit too rich. The classic cheesecake was very rich, but honestly a bit too rich. It felt so calorific and heavy, but if that's what you're looking for in a cheesecake, then I think you would love it. You can tell the ingredients are high quality and that the fat emulsion within is well made. If you're looking for something with a better balance in flavours, then I'd recommend the lime cheesecake. This one was my favourite as the acidity of the lime provided a freshness and crispness that balanced out the heavy cheese of the cake. However, my friends thought that it was too sour for their taste, and I do agree that the lime taste in this cheesecake is much heavier than other cakes in the market. The tiramisu cake was average, and hardly tasted like a cheesecake. It just tasted like a very dense tiramisu, and the coffee and brandy taste downed the taste of cheese. If you want a tiramuse flavoured cheesecake, then you're not going to enjoy this cheese flavoured tiramisu.
