I love Korean BBQ a lot, so I try nearly all the "tradition" shops in Tsim Sha Taui. This shop is highly rated by a lot of people, so I came here with a very expectation. First of all, after a quick glance at the menu, the price is not cheap at all, from my experience, with a menu like that, it should cost at least $250 per person. 1. 栗子牛肋骨
This is a must try but this is not the best one I try in Hong Kong, but I can say it meets the standard. The sauce is sweet and the meat is tender. The white carrot is wonderful as it soaked the juice, however, there is only 2 piece inside.
2. 燒牛肋骨
They have 3 different price, I ordered the cheapest one, the outlook is not so good compared with the expensive one, but the taste is acceptable.
3. 泡菜辣豆腐湯
A bit disappointed on this one, not very spicy and the soup is not tasty at all, just like boiling water with 泡菜and 豆腐. You can skip this if you are demanding.
4. Green Vegetable
5. 韓國燒酒" 真露"
Best to go with 燒牛肋骨. Better than sake if you can drink strong wine.
The 前菜is just normal stuff, not exciting and cannot refill.
Overall comment:
Compare with the others I tried in Hong Kong, this one is not particular good, it is just another korean BBQ restaurant in Hong Kong. It may be good if you don't have high expectation. But unfortunately I came with high expectation, or I can say I am a demanding person.
