◆キャラメルトマトとアボカドサラダ Caramelized Tomato & Avocado Salad
The caramelized tomato slices were sweet and crispy on the outside and juicy inside. Healthy and refreshing starter.
◆おでん Oden
7 types of ingredients including konbu, boiled egg, radish, konjac, chikuwa, goboten and satsumaage. Dipped some mustard to enhance the flavors.
◆アサリの酒蒸し Sake-steamed Clams
Cooked to the right point. The umami of the clams had perfectly infused with the karakuchi sake.
◆うなぎ Eel
◆えんがわ Flounder Fin
Each order contained 2 pieces of sushi. Came in bite size.
◆ふぐ味醂干 Dried Pufferfish
◆牛タンの厚切り Ox Tongue
◆ねぎま Chicken & Scallion
◆手羽明太 Mentaiko Chicken Wing
Picked a couple of skewers. Negima and ox tongue were juicy with a nice sear. Savory mirinboshi and mentaiko wing. All served with greens and a lemon wedge.
◆豚軟骨ラーメン Ramen w/ Pork Soft Bones
As a shime, we ordered a bowl of black garlic tonkotsu ramen to share. The noodles soaked up the soup pretty fast so it's best to enjoy it asap.
As a side note, the staff were thoughtful and patient in dealing with our special requests which we highly appreciate!
