I love this place so much. I tend to go here for lunch and sometimes I get takeaway. The food is extremely tasty and satisfying as it is made with high quality ingredients and prepared with care. I find myself really not enjoying other Korean takeaway food anymore, because Mimi's is far superior.There are a number of options, even within each category. They also offer specials that change from time to time, although to be honest, I tend to order the same things because they are my favourites
The food is extremely tasty and satisfying as it is made with high quality ingredients and prepared with care. I find myself really not enjoying other Korean takeaway food anymore, because Mimi's is far superior.
There are a number of options, even within each category. They also offer specials that change from time to time, although to be honest, I tend to order the same things because they are my favourites. Bibimbap, gimbap and sometimes the fried chicken (which is gluten-free as well as hot, crispy, fresh and yummy). I've also tried some of the lunch sets before.
A lot of the side dishes and pickles are homemade (you can taste and see - they are fantastic and additive-free). It makes such a difference to mass-produced, pre-packaged stuff that is full of additives. I feel very satisfied after eating here and I enjoy eating food when the ingredients are good quality.
The owner, chef and staff are friendly and it makes it a pleasure to eat here. The atmosphere is relaxed. Sometimes you do have to wait a little while for your food - everything is cooked to order (and that's why everything tastes so fresh). I guess it depends how many other customers are in the place when you arrive.
It's not often that you get to chat to the owner of a place like this and see how much they care about the food... what a pleasure. The value you get for the money you pay makes me want to come back more often. I hope more people try this place out - MiMi 2 Go is such a great place (especially when I think about how much lunch in Central costs in other places, and how sometimes food from those places can be tasteless or boring (e.g. lots of money for lettuce) or unhealthy!).
