Overall verdict: good place for a quick, tasty lunch. This North Viet Pho branch has generously portioned noodle soups for the price. I can barely finish the whole bowl Everytime. This is a good place to grab a quick lunch or dinner with no fuss.
On this occasion I had the chicken and Vietnamese sausage noodle soup with pho. there was a lot of chicken in this and the soup was well seasoned. Lots of flavour but not too salty and I really like the taste of the fresh onion with the soup. The noodles came with a side of chili and lime to add to my liking.
Taro had the the crab roe and Vietnamese sausage vermicelli in tomato soup. The soup base has a very strong seafood flavour - like the other dish, it was seasoned well and not too salty. He always orders this so it must be good!
The coconut ice jelly drink was super cold and refreshing for summer! it's mainly ice based so not too filling with the noodles.
For the small restaurant, the place is well staffed and for the most part polite.
