I ordered the knife cut noodles with drunken chicken ($52). I had no idea it was so big! The bowl of noodles were huge. Boyfriend and I ended up sharing it and he took what he ordered home with him. The noodles were very good. Smooth and chewy. The soup was clear yet strong.
The shocking thing was the portion of drunken chicken. I thought I'd only get a small portion with my noodles. Instead there was half a chicken here! AND a full egg! The meat from the chicken was firm. It seemed like free range? Is that possible in Hong Kong? It was well seasoned and had a nice wine taste without being bitter. The skin also wasn't overy fat. The egg was a bit on the salty side but the yolk was the perfecty soft.
Boyfriend ordered the cold stir noodles ($52) and asked for slightly spicy. But it was super spicy even for him. He eventually scooped off the chili paste provided. Portion size was huge as well with a generous portion of toppings that included egg, cucumber, beef shank and peanuts. The beef shank was quite good though a bit on the salty side.
Portion size was a lot bigger than expected. Food was delicious especially the drunken chicken. Place was very clean and we'd definitely be back.
