Double standards

There were seats outdoors overlooking the beach, which is the reason why we chose this restaurant for a drink. I was with my boyfriend and we wanted to sit at the only available table overlooking the beach which is a 4-person table, but this Asian waitress told us that those tables are reserved for 4 people only, so we were let to another 2-person table on the side. After we sat down, I saw that there was only 1 person sitting at a 4 person table next to us. And so we asked again, pointing to th

There were seats outdoors overlooking the beach, which is the reason why we chose this restaurant for a drink. I was with my boyfriend and we wanted to sit at the only available table overlooking the beach which is a 4-person table, but this Asian waitress told us that those tables are reserved for 4 people only, so we were let to another 2-person table on the side. After we sat down, I saw that there was only 1 person sitting at a 4 person table next to us. And so we asked again, pointing to that 1 person, but that waitress dismissed our request. I didn't want to make a fuss so I said fine. But later on, another 4 person table was taken up by 2 people who just walked in. This restaurant has double standards, which is totally unacceptable. They have a standard for tourists and/or foreigners and another lower standard for locals.
