This is another Indian restarant recommended by my colleague. It is located in the 2/F of Wing On Plaza and it is called "Woodlands", servicing Indian vegetarian food. I arrived at 12:30 and it had only two customers having Indian fried rice and Samosas. They gave me a glass of water that glass was crystal clear and clean. Compare with the dinning room's decoration and service, they are chargin inexpensive prices. The Delimma: THALI or DOSAMy first choice in Indian restarant always the Sou
The Delimma: THALI or DOSA
My first choice in Indian restarant always the South Indian Thali. However, I moved to Rawa Dosa this time. I choose the Mysore Rawa Masala Dosa because I am quite keen to have it on these days. (It's kind of rare thing that I want to eat a particular type of food in a period of time. I want Indian food, especially rawa dosa these days.) This Dosa took over 20 minutes to reach my table. The It comprises three items: the Dosa, spicy bean sauce, and cucumber yogurt.
RAWA DOSA
The dosa looks like the "net shape" skin made by wheat and rice powder. With sparkle of red spice (chili powder or pikra or chef's secret magic powder!?) The filling is potatoe seasoned by masala. The portion was quite large and good for an adult male. Although I have a stomach as large as a man, I am afraid I can only finish at most 80% of it. Honestly speaking, I almost want to give up when I finished 50% because of the full stomach. However, it's impolite to have unfinished food in Indian restarant. So, I finished the WHOLE DOSA!!!
There's only 3 customers visited during the 12:00 ~ 13:00 hour. I hope they will have a better business in the second half lunch hour and/or the dinner session. Since the interior decoration and fixture was not attractive, I am afraid their target customer is native Indian instead of the local people.
Anyway, I think I will come again because I want to try their fried rice which looks lovely.
