I'm glad I scrolled through the negative reviews before posting my own, because it turns out I'm not alone in being utterly disappointed by the chicken. Luckily for me, it no longer costs $120 like it did back in 2021 (based on the menu photos I've seen here). Unluckily for me, it still cost $98, which is still way overpriced considering the quality and quantity. They call it chicken piccata, but what I got was cha cha teng chicken steak... and to be honest, real cha chan teng chicken steak would probably taste better and only cost half the price. The service of the tattooed lady at the cashier also gave me cha chan teng vibes. She was monotonous, curt, and seemingly unfazed with everything, cooler than the cool kids in the movies. Maybe she also lost the spark in her life after working at a cafe that serves such a pathetic excuse of a chicken dish for $98.

However, the pasta dishes were quite tasty and I was pleasantly surprised by their Thai Tea Yuen Yeung. I wanted to try something special but was also prepared for it to be a disaster for my taste buds and digestive system. I mean, who knows? Thankfully my concerns were unfounded as the drink was absolutely delicious and the coffee actually helps to balance out the oversweetness of Thai milk tea.
