The food is overpriced. Service is slow (even with very simple orders) and politeness levels are variable. I've been twice - once to dine in, and once to take away. I won't be going again. I was surprised that the other reviews on this site were positive (although you never know which ones are real) - maybe food/service there has improved. The food actually does not taste very good (I tried the flatbread topped with roast veg/salad and hummus and baba ghanoush.) The flavours are too strong (but not delicious) or completely absent. I enjoy Middle-Eastern style foods but this was not a good meal. The fresh juices are OK but too sweet for my liking; it would be better if there was more variety but the place is small, so you can understand a limited menu. Still if the food doesn't leave you feeling gross from the flavours, then you will be hungry an hour later (portions are small).
The gluten-free flatbread is not gluten-free!!!!!! How can they advertise that they have a gluten-free option?! It did taste nice though (if I had eaten it alone I think I would have enjoyed it more than with all the toppings).
The 'vegan' brownies are not vegan (contrary to one of the previous reviews here) - they have eggs!!!! They are yummy! There are many other raw desserts, which look good, but I don't want to go back there because of my two bad experiences, and because two friends of mine also found it to be a let-down and a rip-off. Then again it is an 'eco-friendly' place where everything is disposable, so you can already feel that something is amiss.
They have a lot of raw desserts, which I didn't try. I don't know why the desserts come in massive portions but everything else is small.
I didn't try the burger or sweet potato fries or other menu items that time because I felt like having something healthy when I went. Maybe Mana could just focus on the brownies (too bad about being healthy!). Don't go if you have food intolerances.
