Fish and chips arriveded with perfectly cooked crispy batter but a textureless fish filling. The chips were good, as were the few peas served with it.
Victorian Farm Lamb Rack was reqested medium rare but was presented without a hint of pink, totally overcooked, and for a resteraunt that used to be known for large portions the teaspoon of mash potato, three broad beans and carrots that accompaniend the burnt offering were decidedly mean.
Service was good and attentitive.
With a decent cocktail, glass of Malbec and a soft drink we left feeling that the $900 spent could have been better used elsewhere. This was the type of cooking that gives British food a bad name.
