I requested to have all plain scones, as I’m not a fan of the raisin ones. A total disappointment. The scones were neither buttery nor moist. I found them quite stiff and inedible... I could not tolerate the dryness without the clotted cream and jamTheir clotted cream was quite fresh though, yet I could not say so for the jams...
The pastry trolley, the desserts were totally not satisfactory at all! Apart from the vanilla mille-feuille which was crispy and buttery, they were all too sweet and unimpressive.
Last but not least, the chocolate trolley. Nothing special at all, the taste was again so-so...
The afternoon tea was a disappointment, especially when they charged $798 for 2 (+10%). And we were eating in a rush as the time limit was only 2 hours. The overall environment and service was okay, but won’t be returning unless they change their menu
