I went there to celebrate a friend's birthday last night. Reservation service:First off, the waitress on the phone spoke lousy English when I booked the table days ago, and she only knew to give me some standard answers when I asked about birthday arrangements but sounded quite lost when I asked further for special arrangement.Seating:They gave us a table at the entrance while there're plenty of other tables. Seating:
They gave us a table at the entrance while there're plenty of other tables. My friend said it was ok. But I kept hearing their phone at the reception ringing with no one to answer.
Food:
I didn't expect much on the food as ppl's comment differ. But suprisingly it was perhaps the best part of the night. In particular, the snow crab angel hair we ordered was pretty good.
Dessert:
They didn't have apple crumble! >_<
Service:
1) The waiters and waitresses weren't very attentive. We had to hang our hands in the air forever to get them over. Sometimes they just walked by while there's no way they would've not seen you!
2) Very disappointed about birthday arrangement. Told'em it's a celebration when I made the reseveration, said it again when we ordered dessert. The waitress even asked us if we wanted candles but we said no. But does no candles mean NO BIRTHDAY SONG and NO PICTURE too??!!! She just brought us the dessert and put it down and leave!
3) They charged us for the dessert too, had to ask them to issue another check!
Will I be back? To Fat Angelo's, maybe, becoz the food wasn't bad. But NOT TO THEIR CAUSEWAY BAY SHOP AGAIN!!!
