The restaurant was in a memorable location - alleyway of Fuk Man Street in the Ko Fu Building. There are many restaurants operating on the ground floor and they encompass all sides. It's best to make one loop to look for something that piques your interest. I was on the prowl for the golden chicken hainese rice place only to be side tracked by this thai restaurant. They also serve hainese chicken rice so it was the perfect compromise. We ordered 4 dishes: shrimp balls, pork neck rice, hainese
We ordered 4 dishes: shrimp balls, pork neck rice, hainese chicken rice and fried morning glory.
Shrimp balls are deep friend and nothing out of the ordinary.
Pork neck rice was delicious. Chicken rice was spetacular. The morning glory had a lot of flavour. The rice options come with soup.
The thai food in the alleyway was a nice meal outside of the norm, most people get caught up with eating fresh seafood in Sai Kung and lose out on the other offerings available in the area.
There's nothing wrong withthe restaurant. It has the daipadong feel as you literally eat inside an alleyway. They have two storefronts but those seats fill up quite quickly. The hygiene and cleaniness is what you expect to find eating in an alleyway and they do a good job of maintaining it. The meal for four dishes worked out to $180 which is great value.
