Knowing that Mongkok has recently opened a new dim sum restaurant, I decided to bring my parents there for dim sum today. Dim Sum Gallery was located at Grand Plaza, just beside Mongkok MTR.They served steamed and deep-fried dim sum, rice roll, rice or noodles, appetizers, vegetables, soup, desserts and drinks. Baked BBQ pork bun in bamboo charcoal - It was presented nicely, and it was baked till soft and crispy. BBQ pork bun was served hot and chewy, and was sweet as well.
Crispy rice rolls with turnip and dried scallop - Rice rolls were steamed till soft and smooth and was thin in texture. Turnip and dried scallop were crispy and chewy, flavourful as well.
Black truffle with wild mushroom dumplings - Wild mushroom was fresh and chewy, and black truffle helped to make it more flavourful.
Pork siu mai with prawns and dried flounder powder - It was fresh and very chewy, smooth as well.
Feng cheng mille feuille cake - It was steamed till soft and was sweet as well.
