Chilling at the discovery bay on a random Saturday night and run into this lovely restaurant in the Discovery Bay Plaza. I do feel that this is probably the largest restaurant of Lantau compare to a number of restaurants nearby. What is even better? ZAKS is an oceanfront culinary place. Waited around 15 minutes before we get seated, staff is friendly and allows us to choose between indoor or outdoor seating. The area is well decorated and defined and all offering beautiful sea views, serving a wide range of Asian/Western food with a fresh sea breeze. The drink list is really long, comprising great tropical cocktails, wine, to draft beer. I picked the bloody mary and it is totally amazing!
As for the food, I see many people recommending the grilled pork ribs but I feel like today is a seafood day. Got to pick the grilled king prawns from the menu and the size surprises us! Each prawn is huge and the meat is very tender. Perfect seasoning. Enjoy a great dinner here! On a side note, the boss also offer us free ferry to return to the central pier, how great is the arrangement! A big thumbs up
