Authentic Penang Cuisine near home! What! Seeing that the prices were fairly reasonably priced, I had to give it a visit.Environment, Hygiene & Service:I found out that this place is run by a couple by talking to the guy who helped me out the day I visited. He was the owner's friend and was very friendly and informative. He told me what was unique about the different dishes and made recommendations. I was told the chef/owner worked at a hotel in Malaysia before venturing out on his own, so $28
I found out that this place is run by a couple by talking to the guy who helped me out the day I visited. He was the owner's friend and was very friendly and informative. He told me what was unique about the different dishes and made recommendations. I was told the chef/owner worked at a hotel in Malaysia before venturing out on his own, so $28-$48 for good authentic food seems like a good deal to me.
Taste & Value:
Pineapple Baba Coconut Prawn (3 pc) with Coconut Rice ($48) This was soso. This was too tropical for my taste and the prawns were a little overcooked. The sauce was okay though, it was different.
Pandan Drink ($10) A very unique drink that I recommend. I have never had such a drink before. The pandan was strong, so definitely try it if you're a pandan fan. However, it was quite sweet.
The service was excellent, and the food was unique. I would suggest this place to a friend.
