LANDMARK has been doing heavy brand building lately with special emphasis on its restaurants (4 restaurants, 9 Michelin stars). CAFE LANDMARK, though not Michelin-starred, it's a signature at the mall and, perhaps, in Hong Kong (with a history of decades). Noticing that it was closed for a few months earlier on, it has now reopened with a lovely revamp. Like always, people are lining up for it, any time of the day.The interior has gotten a refreshing makeover from the previous monotone B/W/Grey.
The interior has gotten a refreshing makeover from the previous monotone B/W/Grey. Colorful leather furnitures, bouquets, burl woods, copper metals; it's more feminine and an interplay between urban city life and nature.
Pistachio Cake: the piece that had the most love. It has both the look and taste. Ruffles, gold leaves, natural color; taste of real pistachio, almond and white chocolate. Moist. Takeaway is not recommended because it could melt and get mushed in the box.
題外話/補充資料:
Cakes are overall not too sweet. Suitable for Asian palettes.
