Bucket Feast

I ordered the bucket feast a week before CNY at HK$888 for our family celebration. The menu and the picture on the promotional leaflet stated that there will be different types of food including "SEA shrimps", which is good for 12 persons to enjoy. When I took the food home to reheat, I found the 12 shrimps provided was extremely small and it was actually those cheap FRESH WATER shrimp, not the SEA shrimp as stated. The menu and the picture on the promotional leaflet stated that there will be different types of food including "SEA shrimps", which is good for 12 persons to enjoy. When I took the food home to reheat, I found the 12 shrimps provided was extremely small and it was actually those cheap FRESH WATER shrimp, not the SEA shrimp as stated. Also, the shrimp meat was very "squashy" in texture, which demonstrated lack of freshness. I was extremely disappointed given the price of the bucket feast was not those of Cafe de Coral or Fairwood price. If I have time, I would have complained to the restaurant as well as the consumer council for their dishonesty. Afterall, even frozen sea shrimps were not that expensive. It was completely outrageous for the restaurant to sacrifice quality and value by this dishonest act. Because of their dishonesty, our family will boycott the restaurant and not to patronage it anymore. My advice to all other customers are to make sure you checked your bucket feast quality before you take it home, as it was a great and unpleasant surprise! Also, if you went for their package dinner menu, you will also find a lot of surprises and poor quality of food. It was simply not value for money!
