A weekend staycation at the Pier Hotel provided us with a complimentary breakfast at WA-Theater Restaurant, and it was definitely a nice one to top up our stay at the hotel.There are 3 types of breakfast served at the restaurant - Japanese, Western, and Vegetarian. I like looking at how chef prepare my food. It always amused me with chef’s advanced cooking skills and makes me crave for food more.

You know it’s definitely an authentic Japanese style breakfast when you see rice in your set. We love the grilled fish with cheese dearly! The miso soup was standard and good. As the for shredded cabbage, it was kinda raw. I would prefer those served with katsudon (fried pork chop rice). Egg rolls were just so so, a bit overcooked.
