after months of talking abt this restaurant, I finally booked a table for 6 for an evening Friday night dinner. 3 gals orders the tasting menus, the guys ordered the house steaks (10oz for $450, not cheap). The tasting starts with so-so appetizer before we repeatedly called the server for food. We ended up waited for 30 more minse before we had our mains. Thou the food was worth a wait but a big NO. The tasting starts with so-so appetizer before we repeatedly called the server for food. We ended up waited for 30 more minse before we had our mains. Thou the food was worth a wait but a big NO. The tasting main was liked sirloin with fried goose liver (a typical thing) but not one, all three goose livers from the plates were dead cold. We requested to speak to the rest manager and he knew that was sth wrong in the kitchen. After another 15 mins, the re-heated liver was served. I could tell it was just cooked in the pan for 2 mins and by the time it served, it was barely warm....big mistake! So, we were patient enough for another 45 mins b4 the dessert. A mis-represntable melted chocalate pudding. Not have to elaborabe more, you can picture the ugly look pudding. For the 10oz expensive steak, it tasted pretty tender and juicy but I'd guess it is not an angus beef if you know what beef should taste like. So, my advise, save your money and cook a better dinner yourself. BTW, it should be named, The Earthquake, the restaurant literaly shakes in every 10 mins when star ferry arries.
