I was asked by my boss to go do a bankrun for her and when I was returning back, I noticed that this stall that's usually busy around lunchtime doesn't have a queue today. It was hot and humid so I ordered a very simple drink - Honey black tea ($20). Their menu is offered both in English and in Chinese.While waiting, I noticed that there's a little note above their screen that says it takes 10-20 minutes to make a drink. Wow, that long? The lone staff member didn't even take 10 minutes to make my drink but rather, it only took him a minute or so. The workplace seems clean, though the floor might need more mopping.
The drink was good and of course, it was bitter but a trip to the fridge can fix that up. The main reason why I love Tenren drinks so much is that they use quality tea leaves straight from the source. I believe that there's no other drink that can beat this. Though I don't like that wait time of theirs at all. Even with Tenren, I wouldn't want to wait that long just for a drink, no matter how good it is.
