Been hearing a lot of hype about this place near HKU. As I dont reside near the western park of HKI, I never could justify myself to come all the way here to try these snacks... but god damn was I wrong. Also, if you drive, can freely park around the area at night so this area makes this shop extremely accessible if you drive.Walked in, the area was crowded with students, buring that midnight oil and snacking on these food that is generally found in SSP or MK. The egg fried with the steam rice roll was just absolutely mind blowing that will surely blow all hawker food fans minds out. Yea, that fried texture adds that crispy skin outer layer on the soft steam rice roll, with scallion and eggs fried adds that twist, extra flavour to the already delicious fried steam rice roll. I mean, to hell with the traditional steam rice roll. My only question is why isn’t this served elsewhere or why isn’t this more popular elsewhere. And ya, with the added sauce, that crispy skin outer layer... perfection.
